can any one tell me where to look for the material for the Spacing concept?
Spacing:-
RIP is sending periodic update every 30 seconds. If u have 1000 entries in the
Routing table, you will have 1000/25 (Number of routes in a RIP Packet = 25) = 40
Packets. RIP will send these 40 packets every thirty second. There is an mechanism
"Spacing" by which we canl split sending these 40 packets. (For ex. U can decide to
send a packet every 20 millisecond ).
