I presume you mean Netscape Communicator v4.7.

If upgrading isn't critical (and I'm not sure why it would be), you would
probably be better off waiting for the official Red Hat RPM package
update. Otherwise, you lose the advantage of package management.

If you must upgrade, you want to use a glibc version.  It is your choice
whether you get the supported 2.0 glibc version or the unsupported 2.2
version.  Just make sure you uninstall any Netscape RPM packages first,
install the Netscape tar files in /usr/local/netscape, and configure
according to the directions in the tar file (set environment variables in
profile, etc.).
