No, the disk is not lilo. It is a 'cp bzImage /dev/fd0' disk :)

OK. :) But you can't pass options here, just like I can't pass options to
the bootdisk. So someone with a similar config will have the same problem
as me. I think this is quite a big limitation, unless it is possible to
eg. use a module (of the same driver) for the other card afterwards. Is it
possible for a compiled-in driver and a module to coexist?
