etho for 3com problems..

Hi,
I have a 3com 905 in my linux box...somehow the driver cannot be loaded
I do not know why..?? During machine bootup I see the message delaying
eth0 initialization by ifup...why ..??

I did lsmod but cannotg see 3c59x.o

also when I do insmod 3c59x .o 
I get init_module: device or resource busy  why is that 

How do I enable my card now ..??
