Hello,MC4800 (Aironet) is a good for P2P. See also a AP4800 and BR500 for multipoint (11 Mbps). I use many of previous-series devices (2 Mbps) some years, really good up to 12 km links (directional antennas). I think it is not more dangerous then a phones...While this is not exactly related to Linux, it's directly related to
networking :-)One of my customes has two warehouses located about 300 yards part. They
want them both connected as a network. In their situation it is impossible
to drag a wire and ISDN is not only slow, but ends up to be $2000/month.
