hi, we've got a firewall linux server which do the masqurasing and routing. we've got 3 ethernet card in the server one for the internal private network (with ip 192.168.1.x) and two for the internet (with two legal ip address both addresses are in the same subnet -our isp do the routing to the fast and slow line based on the ip address) one of the them are on fast line and the other on a slower one. we would like to masquarade the internal private ip to the outside ethernet interface based on the source (internal) ip address and destination port (eg. if someone from inside would like to telnet to an outside server the it can go to the fast line, and joe always go on the fast line, but mary always go on the slow line...). who can we setup such rules on a linux server what we have to use and what have to be the rules. the main problem with masquerading since it's done before the routing (isn't it?). thank you for your help in advance. yours. -- Gabor --------------------------- e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------- - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
