This is slightly off topic but I'm running the official Red Hat 6.1 (i386)
and have the cd with the following netscape 4.61 files:
netscape-common-4.61-12us.i386.rpm
netscape-communicator-4.61-12us.i386.rpm
netscape-navigator-4.61-12.i386.rpm
Off of ftp://updates.redhat.com/6.1us, I downloaded the following
rhmask files:
netscape-common-4.7-1.1us.i386.rpm.rhmask
netscape-communicator-4.7-1.1us.i386.rpm.rhmask
netscape-navigator-4.7-1.1us.i386.rpm.rhmask
I've tried running:
optimus:/tmp/rhmask>rhmask netscape-common-4.61-12us.i386.rpm
netscape-common-4.7-1.1us.i386.rpm.rhmask
generating netscape-common-4.7-1.1us.i386.rpm
read c646ec9e21a385709d45e5a7a2defcda
need 0d6b4b0954453cd4a5140740c8587f5d
netscape-common-4.61-12us.i386.rpm is not the proper original for this
mask
optimus:/tmp/rhmask>
How on earth do you upgrade from Netscape 4.61 US version to the
4.7 version using the rhmask files? Am I missing something?
Also, how come the navigator on the Red Hat cd isn't the US version but
the common and communicator rpm's are?
