Hello! I'm looking for a way to collect network performance (number of retransmit, round-trip-time, evt. rtt variance..) on a given TCP socket. The application is a more realistic network perf. monitoring tool that the usual ICMP_ECHO (ping) probe. The easy way would be to use availabe info on the Linux TCP socket, other ways of obtaining such info are a userland TCP socket, but way too complicated for me.. :) Thanks, kind regards. -- Philippe Strauss home email address: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Is it better to abide by the rules until they're changed or help speed the change by breaking them? -- - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
