This ques is not generally related to linux-networking so appologies in
advance.

Now to the ques-- why, the minimum ethernet datasize is 46 bytes? Why
not zero or any other figure. Is there any historical reason behind this?
Or any hardware related issue (performance or something?)

TIA,
Sharad.
