Hi everybody,

I have a 128K connection to Inet and I would like to limit the ftp
to f.e. 60% of the bandwith.
This is the scenario:

    Linux router ( 2.0.38 ) with a ISDN (Teles) and a leased_line,
ip-masquerade and 20 pc connecting by the router.
When somebody makes an ftp connection takes a lot of the bandwith
I dont know any tool to do this.
I think in a particular solution. As I use ipfwadm , I can select all
the connection from port 21 and redirect to a local port. There , in the
local port , I should have a daemon ( I did some days ago ) to limit the
connection to x K/s. This daemon is a simple proxy, but with speed
limitations.

Do you think is a good idea ???
    Is there another tool ???

    Thank you in advance ;)

        Lucas
