Off the top of my head, I couldn't say without knowing more abour the
environment. Instead, check out the following three documents on The Tolly
Group's website under the "Up to Spec" section.
Doc # Topic
8280 Quad FE Trunking
199131 Dual Gig Trunking
199130 Single Gig adapter performance
Hopfully reviewing these docs will help you make the right decision. You may
also want to look at this week's (Nov 1) Network World magazine. There was
an article that discussed gig adapter performance and used a quad-CPU HP9000
as a server transferring data unidirectionally to multiple client stations.
If you don't have access to the hardcopy, I'd guess the article is also
online at www.nwfusion.com.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the answer.
Does a gigibit sollution make more sense than trunking if you're a looking
for more bandwith?
We're a doing digital video and are looking for a server sollution that can
deliver our media files as fast as possible.
