Namaste Shivanand,

You could e.g. add option "flush" to the end of your fetchmail 
parameter file, to make it look something like:

poll provider.net protocol pop3 \
username myself password secret \
mda "/usr/bin/procmail -d user1 user2" flush

This way you are sure that every message is deleted on the server 
right after successful download.
