Hello, everybody:

I am trying to upgrade my box to RedHat 6.1 and now I am using
sendmail-8.9.3 and bind-8.2.2.

Since this upgrade I can not send mails to my own domain without specifying
the "full" server name. Let me explain:

My server "pearl" is both SMTP and DNS server. If I send mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] the "upgraded" server can send it correctly.

But if I send this mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] it says:

Dec  1 11:08:35 pearl sendmail[721]: LAA00719:
   SYSERR(root): synchro.com.br. config error:
   mail loops back to me (MX problem?)
Dec  1 11:08:35 pearl sendmail[722]:
NOQUEUE:
   Null connection from IDENT:root@pearl. (may be forged)
Dec  1 11:08:35
pearl sendmail[721]: LAA00719:
   [EMAIL PROTECTED], ctladdr=root (0/0),
   delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=esmtp,
   relay=synchro.com.br., stat=Local configuration error

I checked my DNS configuration and I have no MX records defined at all!

Can anyone tell me what is happening? This situation used to work in my
RedHat 5.2 boxes.

Best regards,
Hime
