While sorting out some network problems this morning, I happened to
notice that both the cards on the box had the same MAC address. Weird.
They were both EtherExpress Pro/100+ cards. I checked out some other
boxes, and sure enough, *all* the EtherExpress Pro cards on our network
have the same MAC Address: 00:A4:00:80:D2:9C.
The addresses show up as correct (well, I assume so - they're
different) under Windoze, so I assume it's a problem with the eepro100
driver.

Is this a known bug? I've checked all the docs I can find and I can't
find a reference to it, although I have noticed in several posts that
people have been posting eepro100 diagnostics for other problems - and
they all seem to have the MAC address 00:A4:00:80:D2:9C. I guess you
wouldn't notice unless you had more than one of them on a network, and
even then, they do work, just very poorly.
I'd be very grateful for any help.
        Cheers,

        W
