Hi all,
I wonder if there is anybody out there who can tell me what's wrong with
my NIS installation on RedHat6.0?
I edited all the files on the client and the server (namely: /etc/hosts,
/etc/yp.conf, /etc/nsswitch.conf, /var/yp/Makefile), started the ypserv
on the server and tested if it's up and running (rpcinfo -u localhost
ypserv) and started the ypbind on the client: The message I get is:
"Domain not bound...", though it shows me the correct NIS_domain name.
Thankful for any hint...
