I changed the MTU from 1500 to 2200 - the size supported by
802.11 but when communicating no packets are received other than the
initial negotiation of a tcp connection. The two laptops have DEC
Roamabout wavelan cards and in the manual it says that they use CSMA/CA
mac protocol. I want to know if Linux supports the 802.11 protocol and if
so is there a way to force the wavelan cards to use 802.11 protocol. In
ifconfig the MTU size shown is 2200 and also the Link encapsulator shown
in Ethernet.
Thanks.
