Thanks to Allen Cox and Andreas Schindler. Not sure if I purchased the Blue Book but it is by W. Richard Stevens. Title is Unix Network Programming and is the first volume of a two volume set. The second book was subtitled Inter process Communication. Anyway it looks like a very good book. It takes networking issues into more detail than the books I have already such as Unix System V Network Programming by Stephen A. Rago. Thanks again.
