I agree, but I would like to know anyway. For example, if the rules can be
rearranged so that the type of packets you are getting most often are the
ones that are checked first, that might be a good thing. But if the time
spent rearranging the rules is greater than the total time ever saved
because of that, I'll agree it's pointless. We'd be a little wiser,
though.
Perhaps a server or two with extremely heavy network load could
benefit. :)
