Help,
I have done my best browsing the internet for information on Linux Dialup
definitions to NT RAS servers.
I did find several, describing recompiles on PPPD with proper DES
handshaking, but i have not been successful in setting up the proper PPP
option and secrets files.
I guess i am to new for Linux to fully understand this.
Here is my question.
I have an NT RAS server, which when i define the dialup connections in NT or
Windows 98, is defined as 'Accept Any authentication including clear text'
in the security tab.
How does that Translate on a Linux PPP system ? Do i still have to recompile
PPP to connect to this type of NT RAS system ? (I am NOT using callback
either).
How would i have to define the PPP options and PPP Secrets file ? I am
connection to a Domain, so i know i need to pass the Domain name.
Any help is welcomed.
