Hello.
I have bought a D-Link DFE-570TX quad server card. Now I need to set it up for load
balancing on Linux. I've searched the internet for how to do this, but couldn't find a
method that really works. I've read about using "equal cost multipath" routing option,
using the "ip" utility with the "equalize" option and using sch_teql configured with
"tc" utility. I've found none of these methods to work (at least, using the setup
instructions discussed).
Does anyone here know how to do it?
The card is working, but is detected as four different cards. I assigned the same IP
to all the interfaces. The host is reachable via any of the interfaces, but all
traffic goes out through the interface of the last routing table entry for the local
subnet, even if I remove the cable (in which case connectivity is lost). The four
ports are connected to a Cisco 2900XL series ethernet switch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
