The problem is I cannot get my 2 network cards to work together they work seperately just fine. I have the following statement in my lilo.conf: append="ether,eth0 ether,eth1" This statement gives them both an IP address and a IO port and they I can ping both cards from the linux machine that they are installed on. When I look at the activity lights on both the cards, they are switched off. Therefore I cannot connect nor ping the linux box from any other client. This is crazy, for all intents and purposes the cards should be working fine. They are exactly the same card, brand new PCI nic's. RedHat 6.1 detected them and asked me to configure them.
