I have a firewall machine at 1.2.3.108 and a web server at 192.168.1.10. I have a happy group of users also at 192.168.1.0/24 I have the whole 1.2.3.96/255.255.255.240 range. I have a lousy monopolizing isp running my router which uses 1.2.3.97 to be my gateway to the outside world. I have been using ipchains for masquerading, and ipmasqadm to forward mail/http stuff destined for 1.2.3.108 to 192.168.1.10 I need to have a second web server behind my firewall, and I think that if I add a _third_ ethernet card I can do that. I have been having a little problem in that I only have the one set of IPs, and they are the same network and subnet, how will traffic route through my firewall? I also tried NAT a while ago, but with little success. I also know If I purchase annother IP for the router and one for the outside interface on the firewall, that will solve my problem. I would like not to spend any more money, and not to have to call the Monopoly i$p that I use. Please help. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
