Right now the kernel boot process goes something like:
Load up (init video, size memory, etc)
init drivers
mount root
start /sbin/init.
Is there any legitimate way to call /sbin/isapnptools before the drivers
are initialized? Or delay initialization of pnp drivers until after pnp is
configured.
