hello

I have always had a weird issue with SuSE (6.2) in regards to DNS
lookups.

/etc/resolv.conf is pretty standard stuff...two nameservers of my ISP
and also I stuck one in there for the nameserver of cse.unsw.edu.au
(where I study)

I cant ping www.cse.unsw.edu.au but I can ping
web-1.orchestra.cse.unsw.edu.au

abi@rocky:~ > dig ns @ns.telstra.net www.cse.unsw.edu.au

;; ANSWER SECTION:
www.cse.unsw.edu.au. 25m21s IN CNAME
