Hi,

Is anyone else testing PPP connections for 2.3.99-pre4-4?
Two of my favorite websites keep having their connections
time out -- www.amazon.com and www.pcweek.com. Can anyone
reproduce this?

NOTE: My modem card is reported as
"Lucent Microelectronics Venus WinModem (V90, 56KFlex)", but
the box the modem came in said it was Linux compatible.
Can anyone confirm or deny that this device should work
with Linux? Also note that this modem card is not recognized
by my 2.2.13-7 kernel, but it is recognized by 2.3.99-pre4-4.
I am sending you this note using this modem.

I have pppd 2.3.11.
