Hello,
I have the following network problem:
host# ping 192.168.171.1
PING 192.168.171.1 (192.168.171.1): 56 data bytes
ping: sendto: No buffer space available
ping: wrote 192.168.171.1 64 chars, ret=-1
--- 192.168.171.1 ping statistics ---
1 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss
What buffers have run out, and how do I increase the buffer space or
prevent them from filling up? I think this buffer space is also the reason
I get a lot of "neighbour table overflow" messages when I start too many
network services in my boot.
The system is a Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 laptop with kernel 2.2.13, glibc
2.1.3, pcmcia-modules 3.1.8. The network card is a 3com 3c575 ("3com
Megahertz") cardbus card.
Please CC me in any replies. Thanks in advance.
