Is there any basic documentation for getting started at configuring QoS
features on Linux with the tc utility?
I want to start with something very basic (say, two queues, one for best
effort and another, bw limited, for high priority traffic, selected by UDP
port), but I really need to understand everything about the configuration
(no copy-paste from pre-existing scripts).
Is there any other way to get started besides spending a month digesting all
the sources?
I have read Almesberger's paper on Linux Traffic Control, which gives a good
overview of the implementation, but doesn't have enough detail on pratical
issues (well, it is an overview, after all). I have also read
Radhakrishnan's paper, but it has way too many references to source code to
be useful for someone needing to get started fast.
Is there more practical documentation?
