I have Red Hat 6.2 on two of my machines, but only use the shell
environment (now).. Use Windows for graphical environment, just to check
web pages. Lynx is so much faster from the command line. But, the question
is - I need to install some programs which I believe will only run in a
graphical environment. I want to use PGP for Windows. Have it on one
machine and don't know much about the one that is packaged with the
software. I use bits and pieces of this and that now, but have 6.5.3
(free) for Eudora on Window's machine. Can anyone tell me what decent
development tools (like SGML or XML) would be packaged with 6.2, so I can
do a reinstall and get them (the easy way [g]) and I suppose use startx to
get to them? If this is an inappropriate request for this list, I
apologize in advance.
What is the general focus of this list? Is there a FAQ for the list?
