Hi, Netsaint (http://www.netsaint.org) seems to be able to do 3D renderings, drill down on routers and boxes, etc. so this might be what you have in mind. The ability to get more information on routers seems very limited though. I haven't used it myself. Just came across when checking potential Network/System overview program for Helpdesk-type people. I think I'll settle for Mon (http://www.kernel.org/software/mon/).
