Here in Australia, ISDN charges work out at over $1500 per month
for Internet connections via ISDN (Telstra charges) and $even more to install.

$140 rental PER MONTH
+ $135 data call charge PER MONTH if less than 25kms from a central city
POP ($435 PER MONTH if between 25 and 50kms and $740 PER MONTH if further
than 50kms)
+ 19cents/MB up to $990 PER MONTH FOR ONE 64kb CHANNEL

There is another $315 charge PER MONTH in the equation as well but I can't
remember where it fits in. I think its the Internet connection fee but I
may be wrong here.

ISDN has been effectively killed here.

Frame relay (Huh!!!!) is not an option!!
