Alain,

Had a similar problem during the development of the olympic driver, as Alan
stated a state machine is needed. Take a look at olympic.c and the srb_bh
function, we send a command to the card and have to wait for the reply, as
we can't sleep a state is set in the dev->priv structure so that when we
receive the srb complete interrupt we know what to do with it.
