Hi there, I've just purchased a Netgear DS104 10/100 switchable hub. All ports are autosensing. The trouble is, my trusty Xircom CEM56 Cardbus card always reports: eth0: auth negotation failed; using 10mbs and I can't get it to run at 100Mbps. It works fine at 10Mbps, but I'm keen to see what kind of performance I can get out of it. Desktop machines on the same LAN have no problem detecting and running at 100Mbps simulataneously with the same hub. Is there any way to force (from Linux) the Xircom card to run at 100Mbps? I'm running Linux 2.2.14 and pcmcia tools version 3.0.14. I don't run Windows on it, so accessing the card's bios is tricky. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be most grateful.
