Hi,

I am a SW engineer working in Lanner Electronics Inc. R&D dept, I now work
on building embedded linux on disk on chip for our embedded boards, I have
some problems now.  I was using one of our boards: EM-350 V0.0, I put
networking part there too, I was able to do ping, telnet and ftp with IP
addresses, but when I moved the disk on chip to another board which is also
EM-350 but with version V0.1, strange things happened:  when I pinged, I got
"neighbor table overflow" error, what caused this?

And another issue is, when I pinged "ms27.hinet.net", I got "unknown host"
error, the host.conf, nsswitch.conf, and resolv.conf contained all right
info, why did I still get this error?

And I couldn't change the kernel routing table by using "route" command, the
routing table is always the same, I did  use "route add -host 126.6.6.117
eth0", but when I executed "route", I still got the routing table  with
126.6.6.116 as host IP address??????

Because the linux was booted from disk on chip, maybe I was missing some
files or some settings for above problems???

Can any one help with this as I have scratched my head and have found no
clue at all!!!
