hi, is there anywhere that i could obtain info on how to use netlink in the kernel? i had been grepping around and roughly had some notion of how to create a netlink socket and send using netlink_unicast. however, if the kernel is the one initiating the communication, how do i obtain the pid of the user process? and how do i know if the user replied? any pointers would be great. thanx.
