Hi all,
I'm trying to set up a ppp server in my linux box and I'm using
agetty to manage the login process.
My problem is that when I dial-up from another machine the modems get
connected but the login prompt does not appear until I send a
carriage return.
I think this could be a problem when I try to authenticate using PAP.
How can I avoid the need to send Enter to get "login:" prompt?
I'm using kernel 2.2.13 and the inittab entry looks like this:
g9:2345:respawn:/sbin/agetty -h -I "ate0q1&c1s0=1\012" -t60
38400,19200,9600 ttyS1 vt100
