Hello,
I am new to linux, and am having trouble configuring my TCP/IP network. I
am hoping that there is a utility that I can use to configure the network,
but have not found it so far. I used ifconfig and route to set up loopback
and eth0 and added the default gateway.
I can ping the loopback and host computer, but not the gateway. Also, when
I reboot, the configuration defaults back to it's original settings. I must
be missing something that is obvious to others. Any suggestions?
