Greetings,
I was trying out the kernel-2.4-test2 and saw that it does not recognise
my ISA-NE2000-network-adapter. Here is the output in /var/log/messages:
NE*000 ethercard probe at 0x300: failed to detect IRQ line.
It works well with 2.2.14. The only difference in kernel-settings is,
that with 2.4 I included the soundblaster live-card (2.2.14 with no
sound). Could that be the problem?
Im away for the next week so this should be a >>hint<< for a possible
2.4-bug - please send me a mail if you or somebody else can verify (or
not verify) that problem.
