ipmasq and nat on Linux2.3.99pre9

I need to use a USB ethernet adapter, and thus had to switch to Linux2.3.99pre9
to get support for it.  I was using ip_chains, but see that this kernel has
different mechanisms for masq and nat.  Where can I find more documentation
for the configuration and use of these features.  The Documentation/Changes
file has a broken URL in it...
