What is your timezone. Is the hardware clock set to local time, or utc?
What does /etc/sysconfig/clock contain?
Here is what one looks like to Central time, and clock set to local time:
ZONE="US/Central"
UTC=false
ARC=false
And here is the same setup, but for the hardware clock set to UTC;
UTC=true
ARC=false
Also check that /etc/localtime is correct for your time zone.
