Hi folks,

i have the following problem. We use a linux box for our NT Network as
a firewall/router/gateway. We are hosting three domains, all the mail
for these domains is send to the described linux box. On this box sendmail
is running and forwarding the mails to our internal M$-Exchange server.
The problem is that sendmail remaps ever incoming mail to our internal
domain. for example. mail is send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] then sendmail
forwards it as [EMAIL PROTECTED] this means you can send a mail
to [EMAIL PROTECTED] even if the user is not existing at this domain.
All domain names are in sendmail.cf and there is an From-Header entry
in etc/rc.config.d/sendmail.rc.config that contains the internal name of
the router. if i remove it then no mails can be send and recieved.

any help is appreciated.

regards
alex
