Here is what's happening: pentium:/usr/src/linux # patch -p1 --dry-run < /root/kctt/patch/kct0_02-2.2.18-patch.dif patching file Documentation/Configure.help Hunk #1 succeeded at 5139 (offset -8297 lines). patching file drivers/char/Config.in Hunk #1 succeeded at 4 with fuzz 1. patching file drivers/char/Makefile Hunk #1 FAILED at 681. 1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file drivers/char/Makefile.rej patching file drivers/char/kctt.c patching file drivers/char/mem.c Hunk #1 succeeded at 37 (offset -6 lines). Hunk #2 FAILED at 658. 1 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file drivers/char/mem.c.rej patching file include/linux/kctt.h As I run it with the --dry it was just a testmode.
