        If it is under KDE then try :
        Start Application/Preferences/Information/X-Server
        (it actually runs , "kcmshell xserver")

        Openwin had a simular tool in the 'right mouse button' drop down
        tool .  But I haven't seen a working instance of openwin in ~ 2
        years .  Hth ,  JimL
