I have OpenOfficeorg.1.1 on a Mandrake-9.2 machine (gnome) working fine. But when I use it via ssh on a Slackware-9.0 machine (icewm) the accents appear as one character and the corresponding letter as the next character (e.g.: `a).
The AbiWord installation on the Slackware machine does not have this problem.
Both keyboards use a Spanish layout.
Where do I begin to look so as to correct this?
