Hi everyone,

I'm new to Mandrake but old to Linux/Unix. Does anyone out there know
what goes into the Mandrake kernel-secure rpm package that doesn't go
into the vanilla kernel? Is there some patch or set of patches that are
applied to the kernel sources? I'm particularly interested in how /proc
only reports processes belong to the user and not to other users
(except root who can see all processes), among other securities I've
noticed in Mandrake's kernel-secure.

Also, does anyone know the status of Mandrake 7.1 on the UltraSparc
platform? Is it still being supported?

Thanks in advance.
