- From root or su:

setserial -g /dev/cua0 /dev/cua1 /dev/cua2 (and so on - this will tell you
how you are currently configued) 

If necessary:

setserial -v /dev/cua# port 0x#### auto_irq 

(sets the irq for the port - change the # to the appropriate device and
port base address - /dev/cua0 (COM1) is port 0x03f8 - the base address
will be listed for each device after the first command is run) 

If this helps, you will need to edit rc.S and unremark the line that
prevents rc.serial from being run. That way the ports will be configured
at each reboot.
