There should be a symlink called X on your system somewhere, that points
to XF86_xxx . If you replace XF86_xxx with the appropriate executable for
your videocard (eg XF86_S3V), and update the symlink, it should work. If
you are using Red Hat, there probably is some GUI program that lets you do
this, but I'm not familiar with Red Hat
