Hi everyone,

Well I'm all ready to install red hat, I read the fips readme and did a full
optimisation using win95 norton speeddisk and booted from a dos floppy with fips
on it, just like the readme said. Well it complained that the last cylinder on
my 2gb hd wasn't free.
I deleted image.idx and did a full optimisation again and still the same.
Whenever norton finishes optimisation, every square in the didk picture is
coloured apart from the last (going along and down from the top) so it seems
that the last cylinder is still used.
Dows anyone know how I can free up the last cylinder, so I can go ahead and
repartition? Also, is there a big risk of everything on my 2gb hard disk being
lost?
I would be so grateful for any help, I'm itching to start using linux and leave
windoze behind ;-)

        Cheers,
        Dom
