True DOS prompt for NT?

Greetings to all,

I tried installing RH 5.0 on my dad's NT box but without success.  I
can't seem to find a true dos prompt under NT and it seems as though
Linux requires a true dos prompt for installation.  Any help will be
appreciated.  Thank you.
