Living in a spanish speaking country I constantly have to add special characters to my documents... under Windoze it's simply a matter of changing the keyboard layout to international or spanish... but I have no idea how to do it under Linux... anyone? Also, on Mickeysoft Word there's a way to assign shortcut keys to special characters, so instead of going all the way to Insert... Symbol you simply assign your favorite key combination (such as alt-a, ctrl-a, etc) to your favorite symbol.
