Thanks to all re: the password info. I didn't realize that. I figured if someone
forgot their password on a Network, they could just ask the sysadmin to tell them
what it was.
In the same way, then, when I telnet into a unix shell account, and setup a
password for myself, then not even the sysadmin of that shell would know what my
password is. And here I am, think there are several people out in Cyberland who
knew what my most secret passwords were. Well, at least now I feel a little
secure. (but only just a little). ;-)

PS, now that I got my swap file working, I noticed that Netscape never crashed
once last night. My means of logical deduction, I think I unwittingly discovered
the reason it was crashing all those times! :-)
